About the role

As the Human Capital & Legal Manager at Maison Feerie', you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's human resources and legal functions. This full-time position, based in Surabaya, East Java, will involve managing a wide range of HR and legal responsibilities to support the growth and success of this dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing effective human resources policies, processes and systems to support the company's workforce
2. Overseeing the recruitment, onboarding, training and development of employees
3. Ensuring compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations
4. Providing legal counsel and contract management support for commercial agreements and partnerships
5. Advising on corporate governance and risk management matters
6. Fostering a positive and engaging company culture that attracts, retains and motivates top talent
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive HR and legal initiatives

What we're looking for

1. Extensive experience (8+ years) in a consulting or generalist HR role, preferably within the retail, food & beverage industry
2. Strong legal expertise, with a solid understanding of employment law and commercial contract management
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
4. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies and policies
5. Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
6. Proficiency in data analysis and HR metrics to drive informed decision-making
7. Degree in Human Resources, Law or a related field
8. Fluent in Mandarin
