Job description

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will work closely with senior leaders and managers to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of business operations, an ability to influence and coach leadership, and expertise in areas such as talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Alignment:
    Partner with business leaders to understand and support their goals by aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
    Advise and coach managers on organizational structure, workforce planning, and succession planning.
    Analyze trends and metrics to develop HR solutions, programs, and policies that drive business performance.
  2. Talent Management:
    Partner with leadership to identify and develop top talent, ensuring a strong pipeline for key roles.
    Support recruitment efforts by collaborating with talent acquisition teams and providing insights on hiring needs and market trends.
  3. Employee & Industrial Relations:
    Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues by conducting investigations, counseling managers, and providing solutions that are legally sound and aligned with company culture.
    Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and legal compliance.
    Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement strategies, conflict resolution, and promoting company values.
  4. Change Management:
    Support organizational change efforts, ensuring smooth transitions during periods of growth, restructuring, or transformation.
    Work closely with leaders to plan and implement changes in a way that minimizes disruption to employees and maximizes business impact.
  5. HR Policy Development and Compliance:
    Keep up to date with employment legislation and best practices, and ensure that the organization complies with labor laws.
  6. Learning and Development:
    Assess training needs and work with the Learning and Development team to design and implement programs that enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
  7. Compensation and Benefits:
    Partner with the compensation and benefits teams to ensure that reward strategies align with business objectives.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or another related major
  2. 5+ years of experience as HRBP, including a minimum of 3 years in a Managerial role, preferably from the Manufacturing Industry
  3. Proven experience in organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and employee & industrial relations.
  4. Strong business acumen and ability to understand business strategy.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  6. Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  7. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  8. Strong relationship-building skills.
  9. Good analytical thinking.
  10. Leadership and coaching abilities.
  11. Proactive and adaptable.
