Job description

The HR Recruitment Specialist is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting top talent to onboarding new hires. This role plays a critical part in building a strong and capable workforce that aligns with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven professional with a passion for talent acquisition.

Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruitment:

  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, referrals).
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Manage candidate communication and provide timely updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Extend and negotiate job offers.
  • Conduct background checks and reference checks.

Sourcing and Talent Acquisition:

  • Utilize various sourcing techniques to identify and attract passive and active candidates.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through industry events, social media, and professional organizations.
  • Proactively research and identify new recruitment trends and best practices.
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate data and streamline the recruitment process.
  • Work with staffing agencies as needed.

Employer Branding:

  • Promote the company's employer brand through engaging job postings and social media content.
  • Represent the company at career fairs and recruitment events.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Onboarding:

  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Ensure that new hires have a smooth and positive transition into the company.
  • Complete all necessary new hire paperwork.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate source effectiveness.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify areas for improvement and optimize the recruitment process.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers and HR leadership on recruitment progress.

Compliance:

  • Ensure all recruiting activities are in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members on various HR initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum Minimum 3 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment.
  • Proven experience in sourcing and attracting top talent.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of employment law.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SHRM or HRCI certification.
  • Experience with social media recruiting.
