Job description

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all human resources functions within the pharmaceutical company. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to attract, retain, and develop talent, as well as ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. The HR Manager will collaborate with senior management, department heads, and employees to support organizational goals and foster a positive work culture conducive to employee engagement, performance, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Oversee employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentives, and employee wellness initiatives.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills, competencies, and career growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards related to employment practices, health and safety, and equal opportunity employment.
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys, recognition programs, and social events.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters, providing guidance, support, and resources as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, payroll data, and performance evaluations.
  • Lead HR projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency in HR processes and practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in HR management roles within the pharmaceutical industry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations, including employment law, compensation and benefits, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in HR administration and record-keeping.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ethical conduct and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
