Position: Senior HR Business Partner (HR Lead)

Company Overview:

Our client company is a family-owned and well-established construction equipment distribution company with 300 total employees and a strong reputation in the industry. They have been in business for over 30 years and pride themselves on providing high-quality equipment and exceptional customer service. We are currently looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to join the team and help their business go to the next level.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Senior HRBP reports directly to the CEO and will be responsible for managing the performance of the employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement performance management strategies and processes to ensure the success of our employees and the company.
  2. Work closely with department managers to identify and address any performance issues and provide coaching and support to improve performance.
  3. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and recommendations for employee development.
  4. Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance management and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Partner with the HR team to handle employee relations issues and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Assist with the recruitment and selection process for key positions within the company.
  8. Provide guidance and support to managers on employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  9. Participate in various HR projects and initiatives to support the overall goals of the company.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 15 years of working experience with 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the distribution or manufacturing industry.
  2. Strong knowledge and experience with performance management processes and strategies.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
  5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Experience with HRIS and other HR software is preferred.
