Job description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled HR&GA Manager to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas industry. As an HR&GA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources and general administration functions within our organization. This role requires a high level of professionalism, strategic thinking, and the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and employee development plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards, and make recommendations for necessary updates to policies and practices.
  • Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and employee welfare initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, payroll information, and attendance records.
  • Coordinate and conduct training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, ensuring compliance with mandatory training requirements.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including payroll processing, employee benefits providers, and HR software vendors.
  • Stay updated on HR and employment law trends, and ensure that the company's policies and practices remain in compliance with changing regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational development initiatives, change management, and talent management strategies.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and metrics for management review and decision-making purposes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with integrity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience (3 years) as an HR Manager or similar role within the oil and gas industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations specific to the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong understanding of various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and other HR-related software applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of integrity.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
