Job description

One of Bali's thriving film production companies delivering world standard film advertising for leading international and local brands is looking for a HR Coordinator to join their team immediately.

The ideal candidate will assist with and facilitate human resource processes, ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions across the company. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining employee records, managing HR documentation, assisting with payroll, coordinating recruitment, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This role acts as liaison between employees and management, providing support on various HR-related issues.

Requirements :

  • Open for local candidates.
  • Minimum two years of experience in HR Officer.
  • Have a dynamic character.
  • Familiarity with HR software systems (HRIS) and payroll systems.
  • Able to coordinate and adaptable with a dynamic team.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in the creative industry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Certification in Human Resources (e g SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Interaction with employees across various departments and management levels.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Coordinate with Group Director of Human Resources, Managing Director and user to ensure staffing needs are met.
  • Prepare employment contracts and manage the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Conduct background checks and ensure proper documentation is in place.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing HR-related queries, concerns, and requests.
  • Assist in resolving employee issues and escalating them to management when necessary.
  • Help organise employee engagement activities and initiatives that enhance workplace morale and culture.
  • Promote a positive workplace environment and facilitate communication between employees and management.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Oversee time and attendance tracking systems, ensuring accurate records of working hours and leave.
  • Generate reports on HR metrics (eg, turnover rates, absenteeism) to Group Director of Human Resources and Managing Director.
  • Ensure HR systems and processes comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist in the processing of payroll, including salary adjustments, and deductions.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Address employee queries related to payroll and benefits.
  • Ensure the organisation's HR policies and procedures comply with labor laws and regulations
  • Assist with the preparation of mandatory reports, audits, and documentation for regulatory purposes.
  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the organisation of performance reviews and employee evaluations.
  • Track performance improvement plans and follow up on their progress.
  • Coordinate the collection of feedback and performance data to identify areas for development.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team and senior management as needed.
  • Assist in other HR projects and initiatives.
