COMPANY BACKGROUND

Haier Singapore is the International HQ of Haier Group and provides procurement, trading, R&D, and big data and cybersecurity support to over 80 countries in Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America. As global business demands continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate Human Resources Business Partner to join our team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Based in Singapore, you will be part of the local management team, providing a full spectrum of HR support to Haier businesses in Singapore and Hong Kong.

  1. Provide HR guidance and advice to managers and business leaders in Singapore and Hong Kong.
  2. Work with group business leaders, local business leaders, and government agencies to set up local HR management and development plans to meet the requirements of local government.
  3. Partner with HQ HR and Global COE team to stay aligned with HQ & Global HR strategies.
  4. Serve as the primary contact on HR matters with the government in Singapore.
  5. Manage HRIS and ensure that system data is accurate and up to date.
  6. Handle HR audits in Haier Singapore.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should be a seasoned Human Resources professional with:

  1. A degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or its equivalent.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of HRBP experience with professional certification from CIPD/SHRM/IHRP.
  3. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and local employment laws.
  4. Team player with good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Knowledge of and experience with various HR information systems and office software.
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills in Mandarin and English to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
