We are a leading hospitality company with a portfolio of upscale restaurants and hotels across Indonesia. We are seeking a bilingual hospitality specialist with expertise in restaurant training to join our team and help our clients maintain high standards of service excellence.

Job Overview:

As Hospitality Specialist you will be responsible for providing training and support to our client, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service to our clients. This individual will work closely with restaurant managers and staff to identify areas for improvement, design and deliver training programs and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Implement training programs for restaurant teams, including front-of-house staff, kitchen staff, management, etc.

• Conduct training sessions in both English and Indonesian, ensuring that all staff members understand the content and can apply it in their work

• Provide feedback on the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure maximum impact

• Collaborate with Head of Hospitality Education to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and support to improve performance

• Develop training materials, including manuals, handouts, and visual aids, to support training initiatives

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into training programs as appropriate

• Monitor and evaluate the quality of service in our restaurants, providing feedback to managers and staff as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, English, or a related field

• At least 2-3 years of experience, with a proven track record of successful training programs (related to hospitality would be great!)

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Indonesian, including the ability to deliver engaging training sessions to staff members with varying levels of experience

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff members and managers

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement

• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including front of house and kitchen procedures, as well as health and safety regulations would be great fit.

• Availability to travel to our various restaurant locations.
