Heat Exchanger Process Engineer

PT. Jaya Refrigeration Equipment (Midea Indonesia) is looking for an experienced Heat Exchanger Process Engineer to join our team! This position will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of heat exchanger systems to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable product operation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop efficient heat exchanger systems that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
2. Perform thermodynamic and hydrodynamic analyses to optimise heat exchanger performance.
3. Perform simulation and modelling using relevant software (e.g. Aspen HYSYS, COMSOL, etc.).
4. Participate in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of the heat exchanger to ensure normal operation of the system.
5. Analyze and solve problems in heat exchanger operation and provide technical support.
6. Prepare technical reports and documents, and record design and test results.
7. Communicate with customers and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time.
8. Continuously focus on new industry technologies and standards to enhance professional skills.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Air Conditioning Refrigeration Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2. At least 3-5 years of experience in heat exchanger design and operation.
3. Proficiency in the use of design and simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS, COMSOL.
4. In-depth understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Good communication and teamwork skills.
7. Registered Engineer (PE) qualification is preferred.
