Job Description

1. Plan and perform internal audits and/or review results from the Quality Compliance Team to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Verify compliance and conformance to all regulatory and quality systems requirements, including both customer and Flex mandated. Additionally, engage in external audit processes (customer's, regulatory, government agencies, etc.).
2. Provide support to any area that requires help to implement regulatory and quality requirements into their processes and develop training programs for internal users in subjects related to regulations or quality systems.
3. Document and maintain all audit findings and request the corrective/preventive actions needed. Create audit reports that identify any non-conformance or opportunities for improvement found during the audit process.
4. Follow up on internal and external corrective actions to ensure timely implementation and validate their effectiveness.

Requirements

1. A Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant degree.
2. Experience in the automotive industry for 10+ years with GM position.
3. Additionally, experience with supplier quality assurance audits (SQA) and/or lead auditor certification would give you an advantage.
4. Seasoned knowledge with the regulatory and process frameworks used in the automotive industry (e.g., IATF 16949, VDA, ISO 9001, ASPICE) would be an advantage.
5. Experience with quality management tools and methodologies used in automotive design and manufacturing (e.g., APQP, DMAIC, Six Sigma, etc.).
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to successfully collaborate with the regional teams and stakeholders.
7. The ability to travel up to ~15% on average, domestically and internationally.
