About Our Client

We are currently representing one of Indonesia's diversified business groups. As part of their strategic expansion, the group is seeking a senior candidate to play a key role in driving the growth and development of their property business unit.

Job Description

1. Develop and lead the implementation of business development strategies to support long-term growth and value creation within the property division.
2. Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, aligned with the Group's strategic objectives.
3. Conduct market research and feasibility analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the real estate sector, both locally and regionally.
4. Source and assess potential land acquisitions, joint ventures, and development partnerships that align with the company's investment criteria.
5. Establish and maintain high-level relationships with external stakeholders including landowners, government bodies, financial institutions, JV partners, and key industry players.
6. Lead end-to-end negotiations and oversee the structuring and execution of commercial agreements.
7. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Investment, Legal, Finance, Project Development, and Marketing, to ensure effective execution of business initiatives.
8. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the Board and Executive Management on business development matters.
9. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing business development team.
10. Drive a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in property development, investment, or business development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
3. Strong understanding of the Indonesian real estate landscape and regulatory environment.
4. Demonstrated ability to identify and close large-scale development deals, with sound financial and risk assessment skills.
5. Proven track record in leading teams, managing stakeholders, and delivering business results in a complex corporate environment.
