My client is a global medical device and pharmaceutical company.

Job Description

• Develop and implement the legal and compliance strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee compliance across key areas (e.g., antitrust, data privacy, employment) and monitor legal and regulatory changes.
• Lead contract negotiations, manage legal risks, and ensure continuous compliance with new business models and digitalization.
• Manage corporate law matters and act as the main point of contact for legal issues, coordinating external counsel when needed.
• Lead local compliance initiatives, including training, audits, and process implementation, to ensure effective oversight of legal matters.
• Build and develop a high-performing legal team, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with company culture and objectives.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Law with 10 - 15 years of experience from multinational corporations within medical device / pharmaceutical sector
• Passionate and proven track record in compliance matters
• Consultative and collaborative in approaching work with other departments
• Assertive & persuasive communication skills to influence stakeholders
• Solid working proficiency in English
