Job Overview

The Head of IT is responsible for:

• Leveraging IT to drive business growth and success by leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing IT team.
• Developing and executing comprehensive IT strategies that align with our goals and objectives.
• Maintaining a secure, reliable, and scalable IT infrastructure to meet current and future business needs.
• Overseeing software development, implementation, and integration projects to support business operations, including upgrades and ERP module implementations.
• Managing the IT budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficient use of resources.
• Nurturing relationships with external IT vendors and service providers to ensure service delivery and compliance with contracts.
• Identifying and implementing emerging technologies to enhance business performance.
• Collaborating with senior management to identify IT opportunities that align with our business strategy and drive innovation.
• Leading digital transformation initiatives to modernize and improve IT services across the organization.

Key Qualifications

A successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Head of IT, IT Director, or similar senior-level IT role.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
• Experience in budget management, strategic planning, and vendor management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
