At Aristotle Teachers, we are seeking a visionary leader to take on the role of Head Teacher at one of our flagship institutions in Jakarta. This esteemed school provides a nurturing family-like environment, emphasizing personalized learning, and offers a curriculum that includes the Singapore, Cambridge, and IB programs.

The successful candidate will be entrusted with the overall responsibility for the seamless operation of the school, ensuring academic excellence among students, and effective management of the staff. This leadership role involves formulating strategic plans, overseeing school development, implementing marketing strategies, driving organizational change, and spearheading recruitment efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree, 5-10 years of leadership experience in a school setting, and experience in an international school environment. They will also possess strong leadership qualities to inspire and motivate staff, excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with students, parents, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching & Learning: To encourage learning to be at the core of all activities related to the school, monitor and evaluate the quality of learning and teaching, and ensure that proper standards of professional performance are established and maintained.
  • People: To lead the selection and appointment of Teaching Staff & Non-Teaching Staff, deploy and manage staff, and ensure that all employees receive the necessary information to carry out their professional duties effectively.
  • School Development & Promotion: To promote a clear sense of vision, direction, and intended outcomes, establish and implement procedures for the promotion and marketing of the school, and recruit and retain students.
  • Resources: To plan, manage, allocate, and account for the human, financial, and material resources of the school, ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and ensure that the school health and safety policy is properly administered.
  • Communications: To establish and maintain excellent communication throughout the school community, internally and externally, and develop and maintain good relationships and communication within and beyond the school community.
