About the role

The Head of Academic (Cambridge school) is a pivotal role within Yayasan Talenta Pelangi Bangsa that oversees the academic operations of our Cambridge-accredited school located in PIK 2. This full-time position is responsible for driving academic excellence, upholding the school's rigorous educational standards, and ensuring the successful implementation of the Cambridge curriculum.

What you'll be doing

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the school's academic programme
• Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the school's curriculum and teaching methods
• Ensure compliance with all Cambridge assessment and accreditation requirements
• Manage and develop a talented team of teaching staff
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among faculty
• Analyse student performance data and implement data-driven strategies for improvement
• Collaborate with parents, the community, and other stakeholders to enhance the school's reputation and student outcomes
• Represent the school at education conferences, forums, and events

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior academic leadership role, preferably within an international school setting
• Proven track record of successfully implementing the Cambridge curriculum and achieving excellent student outcomes
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Proficient in utilising data and technology to drive academic excellence
• Passion for nurturing a collaborative, innovative, and student-centred learning environment
• Fluency in English
