Job description

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Marketing Head to lead our marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for brand strategy, consumer engagement, digital transformation, and revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of FMCG consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive positioning to drive brand success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Brand & Marketing Leadership
    - Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
    - Oversee brand positioning, portfolio management, and category growth strategies.
    - Lead ATL (TV, Print, Radio) and BTL (In-store, Activations, Trade) marketing initiatives.
    - Ensure strong customer engagement and loyalty through targeted campaigns.
  2. Digital & Performance Marketing
    - Drive the digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, influencer partnerships, and content marketing.
    - Oversee e-commerce marketing strategies for platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and D2C websites.
    - Leverage analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize digital spending.
  3. Market Research & Consumer Insights
    - Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and consumer behavior studies.
    - Identify emerging trends and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
    - Work closely with the product team to develop new product ideas based on market needs.
  4. Sales & Trade Marketing Collaboration
    - Partner with the sales and distribution teams to drive market penetration and revenue growth.
    - Develop trade marketing programs, in-store promotions, and merchandising strategies.
    - Build relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and modern trade channels.
  5. Leadership & Budget Management
    - Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team.
    - Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficiency and high ROI on investments.
    - Track KPIs and marketing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: MBA in Marketing / Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in FMCG marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in brand management, digital marketing, and trade marketing.
  • Proven track record in product launches, market expansion, and consumer engagement.
  • Experience in working with advertising agencies, media partners, and distribution networks.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
