Head Chef

Our client

is a 5* very high end International Chain Resort in Bali.

This role will be assigned to their busy beach club with a strong grill concept.

This role will be as #1 at the restaurant, with direct report to the Executive Chef of the hotel.

Please note that this position is available for Indonesian Nationals only.

Profile

1. Culinary school background
2. Extensive experience in International Cuisine with an emphasis on modern food
3. Experience working in a beach club and/or a high volume free standing restaurant is a plus
4. Strong and creative in plating
5. Strong in cooking as well as presentation
6. Supervisory and management experience
7. Having a “whatever it takes” attitude
8. Creative, innovative
9. Out of the box approach to food
10. Knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and safety standards
11. Promotes teamwork
12. Displays confident and professional manner
13. Patient and has the ability to coach the kitchen team
14. Displays flexibility
15. Possesses a positive attitude and displays confidence
16. Able to set example of positive values of integrity, accountability, reliability and work as a team
17. Very approachable, outgoing with easy manner in dealing with guests and associates
18. Must be able to handle difficult situations with tact and high diplomacy
19. Highly interactive, people friendly, sensitive to staff needs and a great team player
20. Able to deal effectively with guests in a luxury environment
