Head Architect & Project Design Manager – Property Investment & Finance Group (Berawa)

A leading property investment and finance group based in Bali is looking for a highly skilled Head Architect & Project Design Manager to join their team immediately.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong background in architecture and project design for mid to large scale off plan hotel or villa complex projects. This individual will play a key role in leading architectural initiatives, setting the strategic direction for projects, and overseeing their successful execution. They will combine technical expertise in creating detailed plans and specifications with a deep understanding of applicable codes and regulations. They should possess exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver innovative and high-quality architectural solutions.

Requirements:

• Open for local and expat candidates.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5+ years in architectural design and project management, with a strong portfolio of innovative and functional designs.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects from concept through completion.
• Strong skills in conceptual and detailed project design, including site planning, space optimisation, and aesthetics.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design tools for project visualisation and technical drawings.
• Excellent client-facing skills and ability to lead internal teams effectively throughout the design and construction phases.
• Innovative thinker with the ability to balance creativity with practical project constraints.
• Adept at resolving design challenges while ensuring functional and aesthetically pleasing outcomes.
• Familiarity with building regulations, sustainability standards, and design trends.

Responsibilities :

• Define and implement the architectural vision in line with the company’s objectives.
• Develop strategies to enhance design capabilities, foster innovation, and ensure architectural excellence across all projects.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of architects, designers, and project professionals.
• Create the plans and specifications of a construction project.
• Provide strategic direction on key projects, ensuring they align with client expectations, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with clients to translate their visions into innovative and functional architectural designs.
• Lead the conceptualisation and development of architectural plans ensuring the technical aspects of designs are accurate and up to industry standards.
• Create and maintain all project documentation, including the plans and specifications, budget, schedule, contracts, and reports.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration between departments to ensure architectural goals align with broader company objectives.
• Engage with external consultants, contractors, engineers, and vendors involved in architectural projects.
• Facilitate discussions, obtain necessary approvals, and ensure clear communication between all external parties.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices within the architectural field.
• Ensure the highest standards of design quality are upheld across all projects.
