Graphic Design Lead

As a Graphic Design Lead at Bobobox, you will oversee and drive the creative direction of all visual design aspects within the organization. The Graphic Design Lead plays a crucial role in shaping the brand identity and enhancing the overall customer experience through visually appealing and impactful designs.

• Develop and maintain a strong and consistent brand identity that aligns with Bobobox's vision and values. This includes creating and enforcing brand guidelines, logo design, color palettes, typography, fonts, and other visual elements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing, Product Development, and Operations, to understand their goals and translate them into effective design strategies. This involves identifying design opportunities, defining design objectives, and creating a cohesive visual language across various platforms.
• Lead a team of visual designers and provide guidance and feedback to ensure the quality and consistency of design work. Set creative direction for projects and campaigns, ensuring that all designs are aligned with the brand and meet the desired objectives.
• Create visually compelling designs for various marketing materials, including advertisements, social media graphics, website elements, and other promotional assets.
• Collaborate with the UX/UI team to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for Bobobox's digital platforms. Ensure a seamless and engaging user experience through the application of effective visual design principles.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors or agencies when necessary to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of design assets.
  

You will fit in this job if you:

• Have a strong foundation in graphic design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, composition, and branding. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar tools.
• Demonstrate experience in graphic design, preferably in a leadership or senior role. A robust portfolio showcasing a range of design work across different mediums, such as print, digital, and branding.
• Possess the ability to lead and manage a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship. Strong project management skills to effectively prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and allocate resources.
• Have knowledge of brand development and the ability to create and maintain a cohesive visual identity. Familiarity with developing brand guidelines, including logo design, color schemes, typography, and visual elements.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively convey design concepts, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ability to work collaboratively, take input from stakeholders, and incorporate feedback into design solutions.
• Show strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop unique and visually compelling design solutions. Ability to think outside the box and stay updated with industry trends and emerging design practices.
• Possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design work. The ability to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines in all design deliverables.
• Have a genuine interest in the hospitality and travel industry, with a desire to understand Bobobox's target audience and create designs that resonate with them.
• Demonstrate the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and shifting priorities. Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and efficiently manage design workflow.
