The Role

• Conduct detailed credit assessments for new and existing clients, analyzing financial statements, credit history, market conditions, and industry trends.
• Recommend appropriate credit limits and terms based on risk analysis findings.
• Continuously monitor credit risk exposures, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure timely credit exposure reporting.
• Perform Enhanced Due Diligence on high-risk clients, identifying and reporting potential risks related to money laundering or fraud.
• Monitor and adapt to regulatory changes, updating KYC policies and procedures accordingly.
• Oversee the implementation and enhancement of the company’s KYC Due Diligence program, ensuring smooth execution of due diligence verification.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage KYC verification processes and respond to counterparties' KYC requests.
• Set up alerts and reporting systems to track credit limit breaches and near misses.
• Partner with technology team to automate KYC/DD verification processes and improve risk management systems.
• Foster a high-performing, purpose-driven culture aligned with company values, supporting diversity and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory, legislative, and permitting requirements.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in credit risk analysis, financial due diligence, or KYC compliance within commodities, banking, or trading industries.
• Strong understanding of global financial regulations and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience conducting financial statement analysis and credit risk evaluations.
• Proficiency in risk management systems and KYC automation tools.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
