General Manager of Supply Chain - Pharmaceutical Company

About Our Client

Our client is a stable pharmaceutical distributor and manufacturer in Indonesia with operations around the country. We are looking for a highly driven individual with strong logistics and supply chain experience and a spirit of innovation to further develop the team.

Job Description

• Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.
• Lead the Supply Chain Subdivision, including Warehouse, Inventory, S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, etc.
• Work with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up inter-company transfers.
• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.
• Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure more profitable deals.
• Monitor the rollout of new business initiatives/pilot programs and provide recommendations for improvement accordingly.
• Provide key findings and support to COO and board/investors on a monthly/quarterly basis.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field, ideally with experience from a pharmaceutical company.
• Have a deep interest and enthusiasm for global supply chain.
• Skilled in Process Improvement (LEAN and/or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred), Project Management, and Financial Analysis.
• Strong leadership skills.
• English is a MUST.
