Job Title: General Manager - Melia Makassar

This 4-star hotel, located in the heart of the city, features iconic architecture, elegant facilities, and a prime location near the beautiful Losari Beach. The hotel offers 135 rooms, making it the perfect starting point for exploring the city.

Position Responsibilities:

• The General Manager will oversee the entire operation and lead the Hotel teams towards achieving all objectives while implementing the Company's guidelines and policies.
• The General Manager will coordinate the planning, management, and analysis of results of all departments, ensuring adherence to procedures and policies of Meliá Hotels International, as well as Health & Safety regulations and Sustainability & Talent Management corporate policies.

Main Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as General Manager in a city hotel of the same category and similar size in the international Hospitality industry.
• A College-level degree in Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent Hotel Management or Tourism-related education.
• Solid functional knowledge of all department operations.
• Experience in managing all-inclusive products.
• Excellent communication skills in English are mandatory.
• Outstanding leadership abilities.
• Strong Sales & Marketing skills and good knowledge of Revenue Management.
• Good understanding of Sustainability and Environmental protection areas.
• Knowledge of IT tools used in the hotel management environment.
