General Manager - Kota Yogyakarta - Melia Hotels International S.A.(Meliá)

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our hotel in Yogyakarta. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing city hotels of similar size and category, with excellent leadership abilities and a strong background in human resources, sales and marketing, and revenue management.

About the Role:

• Responsible for the overall operation of the hotel and the leadership of the hotel teams.
• Maintain a strong relationship with the property owner through proactive and ongoing communication.
• Plan, coordinate, manage, and analyze results of all departments.
• Oversight of the implementation of procedures and policies of Meliá Hotels International, established goals and objectives, quality of service and brand standards, and Health & Safety regulations and Sustainability & Talent Management corporate policies.

Main Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as General Manager in a city Hotel of the same category and similar size in the international Hospitality.
• College level degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent Hotel Management or Tourism related education.
• Solid functional knowledge of all department operations.
• Experience in the management of all-inclusive products.
• Excellent communication level in English is mandatory.
• Outstanding leadership abilities.
• Excellent management of Human Resources & Talent.
• Strong Sales & Marketing skills and good knowledge of Revenue Management.
• Good understanding of the Sustainability and the Environmental protection areas.
• Knowledge of IT tools used in the hotel management environment.

The salary for this position is approximately $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
