About Our Client

We are representing one of our clients in the Hospitality Industry who is looking for a General Manager to lead one of their F&B Venues in Yogyakarta.

Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day operations on the venue, ensuring high standards in service, food, cleanliness, and ambiance.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for staff.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage FOH and BOH teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by responding to feedback, resolving complaints, and consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Manage budgets, monitor financial KPIs (sales, labor cost, COGS, etc.), and identify areas for cost control and revenue improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on event planning, promotions, and social media strategies.
  • Develop local partnerships and initiatives to drive foot traffic and enhance the venue's presence.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a management role in large scale restaurants/hotels; overseas experience is a plus.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and drive results.
  • Familiar with the local cultural nuances, customer preferences, and service expectations.
  • Fluency in English.
