Full Stack Developer (WFO Bandung)

About the role

As a Full-Stack Developer, you will deliver value to customers by developing solutions that solve their problems. You will craft high-quality, performant code and take ownership of end-to-end feature development. You will play a crucial role in impacting the quality of healthcare in Indonesia.

We are starting the microservices migration process. If you want to learn the whole process and use exciting new technologies, this is the role for you. This role is exciting if you’re willing to learn and improve.

Responsibilities

These are the responsibilities you will have as a Full-Stack Developer:

1. Write and deploy code that’s clear, concise, performant, tested, and easy to understand.
2. Participate and own end-to-end feature development.
3. Debug code across multiple platforms when needed.
4. Participate and contribute in scrum rituals.
5. Coordinate with other roles (Product, Design, etc.) on a daily basis.
6. Participate in code reviews.
7. Participate in system design reviews.
8. Migrate legacy monolithic PHP code to microservices using Bun and Typescript.
9. Migrate legacy jQuery code to Vue 3.

Requirements

You need to have most of the following requirements to do the job well:

1. 2+ years of experience in developing full-stack web applications.
2. Proficient with one or more of the programming languages (Typescript, Javascript, PHP, etc).
3. Understanding of concepts like HTTP/GRPC, idempotency, concurrency, asynchronous programming, fault tolerance and monitoring, performance, feature flags.
4. Experienced in developing with frontend web frameworks (Vue, React, Angular).
5. Experienced in developing APIs.
6. Good understanding of testing fundamentals.
7. Good understanding of SQL databases.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

You have an edge over your competitors if you have any of the following:

1. Proficiency in Typescript.
2. Proficiency in PHP, especially Laravel.
3. Proficiency in designing and deploying microservices.
4. Proficiency in TDD.
5. Proficiency in English (reading and writing).
6. Proficiency in automated testing.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bandung: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
