Your Role:
Be part of our extraordinary Product team in our new office in Mataram/Lombok. We are looking for a Frontend Developer to strengthen the development team and work across the Core Product and the Event Attendee App, ensuring a seamless and scalable user experience. This role involves working with a hybrid tech stack – React for the Core Product and Angular + Cordova for the Event Attendee App – requiring a strong grasp of modern frontend development and mobile app frameworks.
You will collaborate closely with Product Designers, Backend Developers, and Product Managers to deliver high-quality, performant, and intuitive interfaces for event organizers and attendees.
Your Tasks:
Frontend Development (React, Angular, Cordova)
- Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using React (Core Product) and Angular + Cordova (Event Attendee App).
- Refactor and modernize legacy AngularJS components in the Event Attendee App to Angular.
- Implement responsive, accessible, and high-performance designs for desktop, mobile, and hybrid applications.
- Maintain and enhance Cordova-based mobile applications while preparing for a migration to Capacitor.
- Improve iOS & Android app deployment using Fastlane, CodePush (iOS), and automated build processes.
- Optimize performance & user experience for event-based applications handling large datasets and real-time interactions.
- Work closely with Product Designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate with Backend Developers to integrate APIs and ensure real-time data synchronization.
- Implement real-time features (e.g., attendee engagement, live voting, networking tools, session feedback forms).
- Develop reusable UI components across both applications to improve consistency and maintainability.
Process & CI/CD Integration
- Contribute to DevOps workflows by integrating with Bitbucket, Jira, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve testing coverage (unit & integration tests) to ensure stability across updates.
- Support migration efforts for outdated frontend dependencies (AngularJS → Angular, Cordova → Capacitor).
You’ll Fit Great With These Skills and Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development for web and mobile applications.
- Expertise in React.js (for Core Product) & Angular (for Event Attendee App).
- Experience with mobile app frameworks (Cordova, Capacitor) and progressive web apps (PWAs).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and real-time data handling (WebSockets, Firebase, etc.).
- Familiarity with Fastlane, CodePush, and mobile deployment processes for iOS & Android.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Webpack, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of user authentication & security best practices (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
Preferred Experience
- Prior work with hybrid mobile apps (Ionic, Flutter, or React Native).
- Experience with test automation (Cypress, Jest, Selenium, etc.).
- Knowledge of Core Product’s backend technologies (PHP/Symfony, PostgreSQL, AWS, Terraform).
- Experience in event technology, SaaS platforms, or high-traffic web applications.
