Job description

We are looking for a Front Desk Officer to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative, clerical tasks, and also guest relation (including serving / F&B). As a Front Desk Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Front Desk Officer’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls, also serving F&B for the guest and employees. To be successful as a Front Desk Officer, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, a Front Desk Officer’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and meeting rooms
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Update meeting rooms availability, calendars and schedule meetings
  • Arrange travel and accommodations, and prepare vouchers
  • Serve food and beverages when necessary for office events and VIP meetings

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management/Apartment Management/ Restaurant or equivalent.
  • At least 7 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • At least 3 Year(s) working experience with Handling Food and Beverages
  • Required Skill(s): communications; hospitality; guest services;
  • Able to cook and prepare simple dishes are a plus.
  • Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor) specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
