Key Responsibilities

1. To promote and professionally sell a wide range of Bancassurance life insurance products to the Bank’s existing and potential customers.
2. To provide professional advice on appropriate financial products based on customer needs.
3. To ensure customer satisfaction and provide excellent after-sales service.
4. To plan and implement sales activities related to Bancassurance products.
5. To act promptly on all leads and follow-up activities.
6. To acquire good knowledge of Bancassurance products in the market.
7. To achieve individual sales targets and contribute towards the achievement of the branch target.
8. Manage sales pipeline by participating in sales management routines.
9. Keeping abreast with accurate and updated information on products and services.
10. Participate in CPD activities to increase knowledge and skills.
11. Update branch managers on status of activities and any issues when necessary.
12. To actively market and sell Sunlife products to all customers.
13. To be actively involved in cross-product sales activities to ensure optimal customer reach, product exposure, and effective operations that optimize delivery to customers.
14. Ensuring the success of all relevant sales campaigns.
15. Handle customer inquiries diligently, resolving or escalating as necessary to the relevant parties.
16. Refer customers to the relevant officer’s salesperson for other products and services.
17. Resolve customer complaints and escalate to the respective parties where necessary.
18. Develop and build long-term business relationships with customers.
19. To ensure the completeness and accuracy of customer documents and information for sales execution and submission.
20. To perform housekeeping on business documentation efficiently, avoiding exposure and exercising caution on all confidential information.
21. To submit the necessary documents to the relevant parties and follow-up in a timely manner.
22. To strictly comply with CIMB Bank’s policies and procedures including credit control procedures, audit compliance, BNM Guidelines, etc.
23. To comply with sales code of ethics and governance.
24. To respond to compliance inquiries both from vertical and horizontal as well as audit, etc.

Qualification

*Note: The qualifications indicated are the ideal requirements for the position. Exceptions may apply internally for promoted staff based on performance.

1. University Degree (preferably in business or accounting).
2. Diploma with 3 years relevant banking experience may be considered.
3. Graduates and diploma holders are required to have a minimum of 4 credits in SPM.

Experience

1. 2-3 years banking/sales and marketing experience is preferable; fresh graduates may be considered.
2. Good networking, proactive with strong sales drive, result-oriented.
3. Ability to communicate well in English, Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is preferable but optional.
4. Good business etiquette and image.
