About The Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Associate to join our dynamic finance team. This role is crucial in driving strategic decision-making through financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. The FP&A Associate will work closely with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external stakeholders to enhance financial performance, operational efficiency, and long-term growth.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, financial modeling, and trend analysis, to provide actionable insight and support business decisions.
  2. Assist in the development, monitoring, and refinement of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  3. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to senior management.
  4. Collaborate with various departments to gather, analyze, and interpret financial data, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  5. Perform cost analysis and implement cost control measures to optimize resource utilization while maintaining high service quality.
  6. Conduct cost-benefit analysis for new projects, investments, and initiatives to evaluate feasibility and support decision-making.
  7. Assess the financial impact of proposed projects, investments, and strategic initiatives, providing recommendations to stakeholders.
  8. Develop and maintain cost management strategies to effectively control expenses and improve profitability.
  9. Support in the preparation of investor presentations, board reports, and other external communications.
  10. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory compliance reports.
  11. Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and financial best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning, or a related field, preferably within the construction, manufacturing, or technology industries.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  4. Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and scenario analysis.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  6. Detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, financial planning, or budgeting software).
  8. Knowledge of the construction, manufacturing, or property technology industry is a strong plus.
