Financial Controller

Location: Bali, Indonesia

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Prepare management reports and financial analysis for the executive team and board of directors
• Coordinate and oversee external audits, liaising with auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion
• Lead the annual budgeting process, working with department heads to prepare and consolidate budgets
• Develop financial forecasts and models to support business planning and strategic initiatives
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, advising on corrective actions when necessary
• Establish, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the availability of funds to meet operational needs
• Review and approve financial transactions, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
