Assist in data entry of financial transactions into Netsuite online accounting system.
Assist with the processing of customer receipts, payments, and other financial documents.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records for easy retrieval and reference.
Maintain various accounts & fixed assets register.
Tax Compliance Support:
Assist in gathering data and documentation required for tax filings, including value-added tax (VAT), corporate income tax, withholding tax, and other relevant taxes in accordance with Indonesian tax laws and regulations. (PPH 4(2),21,22,23,29)
Trigger daily faktur pajak to align with sales order invoice that are received from the operations department. (Trade & E-commerce)
Aid in the preparation of tax returns and supporting schedules under the guidance of supervisor.
Prepare tax computations and reconciliations to the supervisor.
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure the company's tax practices remain compliant.
Initiate coordination with tax authorities and respond to tax inquiries or audits.
Implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities within the legal framework.
Ensure all deadlines are adhered to.
Finance & Tax Administrative Support:
Maintain good systematic e-filing for finance & tax documents to be ready for audit.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and tax information.
Obtain latest updates on tax regulations to support compliance efforts.
Assist in analyzing financial data and preparing reports to support decision-making processes.
Communication and Coordination:
Liaise with internal stakeholders across departments to gather necessary financial and tax-related information.
Communicate effectively with external parties such as vendors, clients, and government agencies as directed by senior staff.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments such as legal and operations to ensure alignment of financial and tax objectives with overall business goals.
Provide guidance and support to the company’s junior staff & ensure tasks assigned are completed within tight deadlines.
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as necessary.
Liaise with HR department to prepare sales commission & incentive computation and checking.
Learning and Development:
Actively participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge of finance and tax principles.
Seek guidance and mentorship from senior team members to improve skills and understanding of job responsibilities.
Ad hoc Projects:
Participate in special projects such as system implementations, joint-venture, or restructuring initiatives that have financial and tax implications.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Possess Brevet AB & C would be an advantage.
Strong understanding of Indonesian taxation laws and regulations.
Prior 1 year experience in a finance-related role.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
