Finance Manager

We are seeking a pro-active Finance Manager in Indonesia who thrives in day-to-day finance and accounting operations as well as partnering the sales leaders in the business for strategic topics. This role requires a detail-oriented professional to manage and ensure all finance and accounting activities are conducted in strict compliance with the company policy and procedures and is in line with Indonesia tax regulations and financial reporting standards. The ideal candidate will also be capable of providing leadership to the team in achieving the long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting and Reporting
   • Ensure accounting activities from vendor payments processing, invoicing and collections, employee reimbursements, general ledger journal postings and all other related activities are performed in a timely manner and per company policy / local regulations.
   • Ensure accurate and timely month-end close and the submission of monthly finance reports to Group Reporting.
   • Responsible for the timely reconciliation of all accounts, prepare variance analysis of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement for submission to Group Reporting.
   • Responsible for external audits, working closely with auditors to ensure timely submission of financial statements and HB II reports to Group Reporting.
   • Prepare and submit quarterly forecast and annual Budget.
2. Internal Control and Regulatory Compliance
   • Manage tax planning, reporting, and audits, ensuring full compliance with Indonesian tax laws (PPH, PPN, BPJS, etc.).
   • Oversee corporate tax filings, VAT (PPN), and transfer pricing documentation to minimize financial risks.
   • Monitor regulatory requirements and proactively identify and mitigate financial risks.
   • Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
3. Financial Business Planning
   • Develop and oversee financial strategies, business modelling, and cash flow planning to support company growth.
   • Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
   • Optimize working capital and manage financial risks effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Male or Female
2. 5-10 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
3. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; Professional Qualifications such as CA is highly preferred.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles, Indonesian GAAP (PSAK) and tax regulations.
5. Proficiency in accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.
6. Experience in ERP implementation is a plus.
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
8. Excellent command of verbal and written English & Bahasa Indonesia.
9. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
