On behalf of our clients, an EV Battery Manufacturing company that is currently looking to hire a Financial Controller position. This position will be responsible to establish and maintain financial controls, provide strategic financial guidance, and ensure regulatory compliance, contributing to the company's mission by fostering financial stability, informed decision-making, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
2. Financial Reporting: Review and ensure that monthly management accounts with all its schedules are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
3. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
4. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize cash utilization to support operational needs.
5. Tax Compliance and Risk Management.
6. Building relationships with banks and MFIs: Business Partnering with management team: Work with finance business partner to get a high-level overview and understanding of the projects undertaken by the company to ensure proper accounting and tax treatments.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles.
2. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
3. Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
4. Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
5. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
