Job description

Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting (Accounting)

Full time

Responsibilities:

  1. Posting of the invoices to the Sage System after GL coding checked by Accounts executive and prepare the payment voucher to the AP team in Malaysia.
  2. Support the AR team on sending payment reminders and corresponding with customers as required.
  3. Maintain Petty Cash & record transactions into the Sage system.
  4. Support the AP team in arranging documentation on Remittance and TT transactions and other bank-related matters.
  5. Maintain Bank reconciliation & cash book before and after payment, to ensure payment is completed.
  6. Assist HQ finance team on compliance matters such as tax, audit, and due diligence.

Office Admin Responsibilities:

  1. Organizing and maintaining office supplies of stationery, office pantry, and other related office administration tasks.
  2. Follow up and maintain policies/agreements/contracts including employees’ & warehouse insurance, office & warehouse building agreements, etc.
  3. Assist and support the Company with day-to-day operations to ensure smooth operations.
  4. Compile monthly employee claim expenses and send to HR in Malaysia.
  5. Support the HR team on staff annual leave, medical leave, etc., and report to HQ as required.
  6. Complete filing for both Admin and finance work on a regular basis (preferably weekly).

Requirements:

  1. Certificate/ Diploma in related field.
  2. Minimum 1 year of Finance and Accountancy experience.
  3. Language skills: English (spoken and written) & Indonesian.
  4. Good interpersonal skills, multi-tasking, and team player.
  5. Working knowledge of Sage Software is an added advantage.
