Finance Accounting Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Accounting Supervisor to join our team at PT Lawencon Internasional. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting and reporting processes for our organization. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records and statements.

What you'll be doing

• Ensure the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards (PSAK).
• Check and ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting transactions, including general journals, general ledgers, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee tax reporting (PPH, VAT, etc.) and maintain accurate tax documentation.
• Audit and Internal Control.
• Prepare data and documents for internal and external audit purposes.
• Supervise and mentor the finance accounting team to ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable and accounts payable on a regular basis.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
• Implement and maintain robust internal control procedures.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to provide financial information.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance accounting supervisory role, preferably within the Accounting industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, including Financial Accounting & Reporting.
• Experience with accurate accounting software.
• Strong computer skills, MS Excel (managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and using advanced formulas).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and lead others effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Required Skill(s): Accounting, Tax, Accurate System, Finance, Analytical Thinking, Accuracy, A/R, A/P, Cash Management, Financial Report.
