Finance & Accounting Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Assistant to join our team at PT Datang Dssp Power Indonesia in Musi Banyuasin, South Sumatra. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial and accounting support to ensure the accurate and efficient management of our financial operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
2. Perform data entry, maintain financial records, and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
3. Support the month-end and year-end closing process, including the preparation of relevant financial reports.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support decision-making.
5. Ensure the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts.
6. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and monitor financial performance against targets.
7. Provide administrative support and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance and accounting department.

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the power generation industry.
3. Strong proficiency in financial accounting and reporting, including the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications.
4. Excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate financial records.
5. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with various stakeholders.
6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Familiar with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
