Executive Chef (Expat)

Our client is a 5* Resort with +/- 100 Rooms and multiple F&B Outlets.

Our client is looking for a young talent, who will create a memorable guest experience. Role will oversee 2 restaurants and other F&B outlets, and will report to GM.

The candidate should have working experience in Indonesia, preferably even in Bali. Candidate will have profound knowledge of Western Cuisines, especially Mediterranean and will therefore ideally be European trained.

Note that our client is willing to give a chance to a current #2, a strong Executive Sous Chef, CDC, or similar. This position is available for Expats only.

Profile

1. Excellent customer relation skills, a true host, who enjoys talking to the guests and promoting his food
2. Culinary school background
3. Experience in small boutique operations and/or free standing restaurants
4. Background and knowledge of all Kitchen operations and procedures
5. Up-to-date with latest Cuisines, Food ingredients and trends
6. Strong in food cost and stock control
7. Experience with HACCP Standard
8. Excellent communication skills
9. Young, strong leadership, tactical skills and result oriented
10. Good analytical and problem solving skills
11. Punctual, efficient and courteous at all times with guests and fellow staff alike
12. A high standard of presentation and grooming at all times
13. Energetic, hands-on, result oriented, motivated
14. Mature, professional outlook
15. Highly developed organizational and time management skills
