Executive Chef (Expat)

Our client is a 5* very high-end luxury boutique resort with +/- 30 units.

Note that this superb resort is located in a magnificent, but remote location.

This role will be reporting directly to General Manager & Resident Manager.

Please note that this position is available for Expats only.

Profile

1. Young, dynamic, energetic, creative Chef
2. Previous #1 experience not a must, also a current #2 would be considered
3. Passionate to cook, discover local regions, work with local ingredients and culture
4. Asia experience is a big plus
5. Island or remote location experience
6. Innovative with cuisine through both modern and classical techniques, and sources quality ingredients
7. Still loves cooking and produces food of a high level with great attention to presentation
8. Flexible and able to cater to particular guest requests / preferences / allergies
9. Strong leadership and organizational skills with great eye for detail
10. Should be very operational, a real hands-on / on-the-floor person
11. Hygiene & HACCP competent
12. People friendly, sensitive to staff needs and a great team player
13. A person full of drive who loves and can relay to and follow the vision of this unique property
14. Strong customer relations skills with a focus on guest engagement
15. Well organized and able to work independently
16. Hard working and able to work efficiently under pressure
17. Quality orientated
18. Innovative and passionate about training
19. Positive thinking with a “can-do” attitude
20. Able to deal effectively with guests in a luxury environment
21. Flexible working hours
22. Strong coach / mentor
