Job description

We are seeking an experienced professional for the role of Channel Sales Manager, responsible for managing partner sales activities within the Consumer Products and Retail industry portfolio. This position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and will report to the Regional Channel Sales Director.

A leading provider of digital solutions for design, simulation, and manufacturing, the company supports various industries in bringing innovative products to life. Our client is a leading player in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Space.

Description

  • Plan and oversee both channel and direct sales operations.
  • Guide and support channel partners to ensure they achieve their sales targets.
  • Meet individual performance goals, including sales quotas and productivity benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to engage and secure key strategic customers.
  • Develop programs and initiatives to help channel partners expand into critical markets.
  • Assist partners in closing business deals effectively.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners, providing enablement support with the technical team.
  • Work closely with partners to address and resolve any conflicts.
  • Foster engagement with channel partners and end users to maximize business opportunities within the LAER (Land, Adopt, Expand, Renew) framework.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and compliance requirements for both partners and customers.

Profile

  • Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience with a strong track record in enterprise system sales (ERP/CRM) within the Consumer Products & Retail (CP&R) process industry.
  • Prior experience in direct sales is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage complex software sales and consistently achieve targets through a channel partner model.
  • Strong business acumen with expertise in managing sales forecasts and achieving targets.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A dynamic leader with excellent accountability and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze challenges and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • High attention to detail, thoroughness, and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Strong negotiation, objection handling, and conflict resolution skills.
  • A self-starter, capable of working well under pressure and maintaining motivation independently.
