About the role

Centralmandarin', a leading provider of language education services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced English Tutor to join our team in Surabaya, East Java. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic English language professionals to contribute to the academic growth and development of our students.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering engaging and interactive English language lessons to students of various age groups and proficiency levels
• Developing and implementing customised lesson plans and teaching materials to cater to individual student needs
• Monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback, and adjusting teaching approaches as necessary
• Collaborating with the wider Centralmandarin' team to ensure consistent and high-quality educational experiences
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our English language programmes

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year of experience in teaching English as a second or foreign language, preferably to students in Surabaya
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
• Strong knowledge of English grammar, pronunciation, and teaching methodologies
• Familiarity with a range of teaching resources and technologies to enhance the learning experience
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success
• Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
