English or Math & Science Teacher / Mandarin Teacher Tutor (Full/ Part Time)

As an educator at Malbi Learning Center, you will be responsible for preparing and facilitating personalized and engaging lessons, as well as fostering a nurturing learning environment.

This position is open for part-time or full-time, offering flexibility.

Available position for Full-time: Primary English and/or Mathematics and Science (Ability to teach higher-level subjects, middle school or high school, is a plus).

Available positions for Part-time: Mathematics/Science/English/Mandarin.

1. Teach and facilitate personalized and engaging one-on-one and/or small group lessons in English.
2. Prepare, develop, and organize lesson plans and instructional materials for each tutoring session, ensuring alignment with students' educational goals. This includes sourcing and creating materials whenever necessary.
3. Create student observation reports.
4. Provide and maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
5. Develop, adjust, and implement new and existing curriculums.
6. Coordinate schedules for teachers and students.
7. Support the recruitment, training, and development of teaching staff.
8. Assist in the preparation and review of teaching materials.

Requirements:

1. Fluent in English - speaking and writing, or Mandarin - speaking and writing (for Mandarin teacher applicants).
2. Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field to Math/Science/English/Mandarin is preferred.
3. Strong subject expertise in either English, Math & Science, or Mandarin. Expertise in more than one subject is preferred.
4. Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
5. Flexible to adapt to students’ needs.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to tailor lessons to a variety of learning styles, according to students’ needs.
8. Creativity and passion for teaching.

Others:

1. Working hours:
   • Full time: Monday-Friday (1-8PM), may work on Saturdays if needed.
   • Part time: As a part-time educator, you should be available for a minimum of 4 sessions/week (sessions are at 2-8PM, Monday - Friday).
2. Location: Puri, Jakarta Barat.
