Be an individual expert in automation products to support internal and external engineering resources.
Manage technical relationships with the Product team. Develop sample code, application notes, and quick start guides for sensor and component solutions and applications.
Responsible for new demo development for automation.
Responsible for demo kits usable by Field Sales Teams.
Help Field Sales Teams to convince customers.
Engage directly with customers to capture market requirements and collaborate with Marketing and Development departments to create the required functions or solutions.
Be responsive and actively engaged with internal and external teams.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2+ years of experience working with sensors, industrial panel components, and automation applications.
OEM engineering experience is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to formulate creative solutions.
Strong hands-on experience working with sensors, relays, switches, I/O, and automation instrumentation.
Experience in different industries such as automotive, packaging, semiconductor, manufacturing, and machine tools.
Field experience evaluating applications and recommending appropriate sensor, component, and automation solutions for diverse applications, including complex, advanced, and high-performance automation applications.
Experience with temperature controllers, including PID control, industrial networks, and IIoT.
Must have knowledge about Timing Belts, Gearmotors, power supplies, and human-machine interfaces (HMI). Energetic, focused, and a highly motivated self-starter.
Strong relationship builder with a personal desire to win.
Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally.
