EHS & Engineering Manager

About the role

As the EHS & Engineering Manager at PT Avery Dennison, you will be responsible for leading the company's environmental, health, and safety initiatives, as well as overseeing the engineering operations. This is a full-time position based in South Cikarang, West Java, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

• Develop, implement, and monitor environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
• Manage the engineering team, overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of production equipment and facilities
• Identify and implement process improvements, and optimise engineering systems to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address EHS and engineering challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to employees on EHS and engineering matters
• Analyse data and generate reports to track and monitor EHS and engineering performance
• Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS regulations and standards

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong technical expertise in environmental, health, and safety management, as well as engineering principles and practices
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Proven track record of leading and managing teams effectively
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with relevant EHS regulations and standards
