Assistant Manager of Product Development (Skincare & Make up)

Gently is a personal care brand for babies and kids that brings gentle formula, good efficacy, and promotes a health-conscious lifestyle. Gently's mission is to help mothers to take care of their loved ones with the best solutions so that they can build healthy and happy families.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user and market research to gather insight related to current product trends, user pain points, and other relevant information.
• Conduct a comparative study about the competitor’s product and propose a product strategy recommendation.
• Manage end-to-end product development pipeline, from ideation to launch.
• Responsible for managing overall product development documentation (product proposal, business case, etc)
• Engage with internal and external parties related to product R&D activities.
• Responsible for formulating product positioning & USP, pricing strategy (calculate COGS and propose product's price), placement, and packaging.

Qualifications:

• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant major (Chemist or Pharmacy graduates is a plus)
• At least 2-3 years of work experience in a product role in the FMCG Skincare Industry or Cosmetics Industry is preferable.
• Proven experience in managing product development.
• Experienced in decorative make up.
• Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
• Have the ability to conduct user research and product market research
