Halal Auditor - East Java Province

We are currently seeking a proficient Halal Auditor who lives in East Java Province to join our expert team.

About the role:

Our Halal Auditor will conduct thorough audits and inspections to verify the implementation of the Halal Product Assurance System in the company according to the requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of the Halal Product Assurance System and other relevant regulations, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

1. Conduct Halal audits and ensure conformity according to Halal Product Assurance System requirements.
2. Evaluate the sufficiency of Halal Product Assurance System implementation in the company based on requirements.
3. Communicate effectively with clients, demonstrating agility in addressing audit findings and follow-up actions.
4. Proactively coordinate with internal teams to facilitate a seamless certification process.
5. Liaise with certification bodies and regulatory authorities as needed.
6. Prepare comprehensive audit reports and assess the client’s corrective actions.
7. Stay updated on changes in halal certification requirements, relevant quality management systems, and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum a bachelor's degree in food technology, chemistry, agricultural technology, biochemistry, pharmacy, industrial engineering, biology, veterinary medicine, agriculture, or any related field.
2. Understanding of the Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH) is a must; familiarity with basic food safety management systems is a plus.
3. Preferably having 1 year of experience in Halal Auditing, ISO 9001, or ISO 22000, but fresh graduates are welcome.
4. Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
5. Highly responsive and proactive in addressing audit-related matters.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong influencing abilities.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
