Engineering and Maintenance Assistant Manager

Established in 2020, our Company is a joint venture company to manufacture and supply automobile seats and its related parts and components to PT Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

1. Developing and implementing production plans according to business and market demands.
2. Managing human and material resources to meet production targets and quality standards.
3. Coordinating and supervising staff activities, reviewing performance, and initiating corrective actions as required.
4. Ensuring adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards and regulations within the plant.
5. Assessing and improving operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization’s mission.
6. Maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
7. Preparing and maintaining production reports and personnel records.
8. Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and replacement of plant equipment and infrastructure to reduce downtime and maximize productivity.
9. Developing and implementing maintenance strategies and procedures.
10. Supervising and training maintenance technicians.
11. Managing budgets and controlling maintenance costs.
12. Monitoring the efficiency and lifespan of equipment.
13. Coordinating with vendors and suppliers for equipment procurement.

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred. A higher degree can be advantageous.
2. Extensive experience, typically 5 or more years, in a manufacturing environment is crucial, with proven managerial experience.
3. Strong understanding of manufacturing software, statistical methods and data analysis, and quality assurance protocols.
4. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential.
5. Ability to handle high pressure and critical decision-making scenarios efficiently.
6. Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
