SAP FICO Consultant

This position will be responsible for the ERP SAP financial module, configuring required changes on the system derived from changes to the process, and providing daily support and assistance for users of the ERP. Working closely with our customers to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP functionality.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Analysis, design, and configuration including requirements gathering, process modeling, and complete implementation of tasks to ensure specified SAP needs are being met.
• Provide help support in any SAP ERP issues related to FICO.
• Be accountable for the project implementation across the entire IT service management lifecycle.
• Evaluate demands by talking to customers, studying business requirements to transform them into an algorithmic business model.
• Customize the respective business area to ensure that customer requirements are met.
• Document settings and prepare proper guidelines that allow other consultants to make further changes or repairs with due effort.
• Prepare functional specifications to assist technical consultants in developing or making changes in ABAP programs.
• Prepare test scripts to test the configured scenarios and applications.
• After go-live, ensure that the procedures remain usable and consistent in real-life situations and propose enhancements.
• Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
• Review user feedback, performance reports, etc., and identify opportunities for improvements in business processes.
• Support business users in the development, implementation, and support of the SAP FICO module.
• This role uses consulting skills, business knowledge, and SAP solution expertise to effectively integrate SAP technology into the business users' environment to achieve expected business results.
• Involve in SAP Project Implementation.
• Be responsible for SAP customization, configuration, and enhancement.
• Conduct workshops for requirement gathering related to FICO, update business blueprint, and deliver test scripts for unit, integration testing, and UAT.
• Prepare functional specifications for developers based on business requirements and coordinate with the development team for unit testing.
• Handle functional testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Tests (UAT).
• Create documentation as defined in the deliverable lists, including configuration documents, training documents, etc.
• Conduct end-user training sessions.
• Support cutover activities, go-live, and post go-live support for the resolution of issues as per SLA.
• Provide SAP solution options and best practice recommendations.
• Demonstrate techno-functional skills and knowledge as an ERP SAP FICO team member.
• Participate in the evaluation of new ERP-related functionality or software.
• Develop and foster collaborative working relationships with the business, project managers, and other team members.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in a related major.
• Advanced English level.
• Fluent with SAP FICO and its sub-modules.
• 3-5 years of experience in the FICO module.
• Highly motivated, with a willingness to learn and do more.
• Adaptive, fast learner, and open-minded.
• Support users during month-end and year-end cycle processes, including analysis and reconciliation of financial data.
• SAP FI/CO Certification (will be a plus).
