We seek a dynamic and creative Editor to take charge of content creation, refinement, and publication across multiple platforms while ensuring SEO best practices and leveraging AI tools. In this role, you will manage social media scheduling and engagement tracking, using AI to streamline content development. If you are a creative, multitasking individual passionate about using technology to enhance content, this could be an ideal opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Article Creation and Refining: Use AI tools to create and refine articles for publication on NewInAsia.com. Review and edit AI-generated content to ensure quality control.
• Article Calendar Management: Develop and maintain an article calendar plan ahead of publication schedules.
• Social Media and Scheduling: Based on published articles, plan, prepare, and schedule content publication across platforms (LinkedIn, X, IG, YT, TikTok). Use AI tools to create captions and reels, ensuring high-quality output. Coordinate with graphic designers for complex social media designs.
• Chinese Web Version Management: Use AI tools to translate and publish articles to the Chinese version of the website. There is no need to check the translation quality, as other team members will handle this.
• SEO Optimization: Utilize AI tools and SEO tools to generate high SEO scores while performing quality checks on the SEO implementation to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
• Engagement Monitoring: Track social media engagement to identify high-performing posts and assess potential future feature subjects.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent comprehension and communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Adaptable, fast learner with a proactive attitude.
• Experience in using AI tools for content creation.
• Basic knowledge of social media management and engagement tracking, WordPress, Canva, and SEO.
