Creasing Tools Engineer (Die Cut Printing)

The Creasing & Punching Engineer is directly responsible for planned maintenance pillar activities and leadership of Printing Lines. He/she will be responsible for daily tactical execution of daily tasks, coordination within the team, execution and follow-up of planned work to ensure Printing lines run smoothly. In addition, he/she will be responsible for developing planned maintenance strategies that support safety, people engagement, quality, cost, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description:

• Use the concept of PM to manage and maintain production equipment to ensure normal and safe operation of equipment and reduce downtime due to failure.
• Plan and execute equipment maintenance work, and do a good job in implementing and updating PM plans.
• Perform tasks related to printing lines maintenance program as agreed schedule, or as set by supervisor.
• Responsible to ensure the creasing & punching quality is meeting Lamipak requirement.
• Monitor periodically the Creasing & Punching Toolings during running.
• Set the Creasing & Punching Toolings and ensure they are always ready to use.
• Control and maintain Creasing & Punching Toolings routinely and periodically, also ensure the facility is in good & safe condition.
• Participate in autonomous maintenance activities.
• Support off shift critical work and emergency repairs where required.
• Work with Electrical & Mechanical Engineer - Printing & production leaders on day-to-day activities.
• Implement management systems ISO 9001, ISO 140001, FSSC 22000, OHSAS 18001 consistently.
• Conduct improvement individually or use subcontractor by supplier periodically, to achieve standardized result & quality.
• Inform supervisor or related department in written or directly if there is a breakdown or failure which causes danger.
• Monitor vendor/supplier’s work from the beginning until the end of the task, to prevent fatal failure.
• Discontinue the job worked by vendor/supplier if failure happens which deviates from the agreed plan, and report it to direct supervisor.
• Understand and follow regulations in Lami Packaging related to safety and quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering or related major, with minimum 3 years experience in the same position in Aseptic packaging industry.
• Good understanding about precision tooling.
• Understand maintenance system PM, AM, TPM, MTBF, MTTR metrics.
• Capable to operate maintenance workshop tooling.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, etc).
